Dolores I. Poulos

Private family funeral services were held for Dolores Irene Poulos (nee Sommer) of Grafton at Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Grafton. Dolores was called to her heavenly home on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the age of 87 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton from natural causes. Burial was held at Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, WI. Dolores was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 28, 1930, the daughter of the late Otto and Emma (nee Schwonke) Sommer. She was united in marriage to Chris G. Poulos on December 2, 1950 in Michigan. They were blessed with 2 daughters. Chris preceded Dolores in death in 1996. Dolores is survived by her 2 daughters, Sally (Mark) Hofland-Goodwin and Susan Poulos, grandchildren, Christopher (Tiffany) Hofland, Andrew (Kate) Hofland and Marcus Poulos, great-grandchildren, Oliver, George, Camille and Samuel, siblings, Emma Schallhorn and Robert O. Sommer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Evelyn Sommer brothers, Ralph and Ronald Sommer, brother-in-law Emil Schallhorn.
