A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at 6PM at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church North, Cedarburg, for Alyssa Nicole Dorfler Noonie, of Grafton, who died on June 26, 2010, at age 15. Visitation will be held at the church from 4PM until the time of Mass. Interment will be at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Mequon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alyssa Dorfler Trust Fund are appreciated. Alyssa was born in Mequon on December 1, 1994, the daughter of Craig and Karen (nee Sarnowski). She was a student at Cedarburg High School. Karen and Craig were blessed to have Alyssa in their lives. She was the sweetest and kindness girl in the world. Alyssa loved spending family time around the house playing with her brothers Jacob and Joseph, reading, playing Wii and Sims, baking with Grandma, vacationing up North, occasional trips to Disney World and Colorado. She also loved outdoor activities including swimming, downhill skiing, jet-skiing and wakeboarding. Alyssa especially loved playing with the family dog Angel. Alyssa was blessed with a wonderful group of friends that made her last years so enjoyable. These included her best friend Claire Olsen and other great friends Liz, Adam, Rebecca, Heather, Laura, Ashley, Caitlynn, Christy, and Becca. Her most memorable times were spent attending the Twilight movies, conversing on face book, and frequent gatherings at each others houses to watch movies or play on the Wii. Alyssas most treasured times were spent with her many cousins that lived out of town. Each long awaited visit was a joy to all. Whether playing outside riding four wheelers, walking in the woods, swimming, tubing, going to the Dells, watching movies, or playing Polly Dolls, they never had enough time together. Teachers and schoolmates will miss her pleasant smile, laughter and kindness of heart. They will always remember her for her obsessions over the years, including Narnia, Nancy Drew, Emma Roberts, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter and of course, Twilight. Hopefully, Alyssas determination in school, swimming and soccer will motivate her classmates and teammates to continue striving to succeed to higher levels in her honor. Alyssa is survived by her parents Craig and Karen Dorfler of Grafton; brothers Jacob and Joseph Dorfler of Grafton; grandparents Dorothy (the late Joseph) Dorfler of Cedarburg and Jerome and Caecilia Sarnowski of Vulcan MI; aunts and uncles Mark (Darlene) Dorfler of Cedarburg, Kurt (Jill) Dorfler of Sun Prairie, the late Lori (Thomas) Palmer of Galion OH, Michael (Valerie) Sarnowski of Sheboygan, Kenneth (Maryann) Sarnowski of Centennial CO and Sharon (Jon) Nelson of Mequon. Alyssa donated lifesaving organs to four very fortunate people. From the information received so far, all transplant surgeries were successful, and those people will now enjoy a full life thanks to Alyssas donation. The luckiest of those is the person who received her kind and loving heart. Not a day went by without multiple hugs, kisses and I love Yous. Alyssa will live foreverin our minds and hearts. God bless you Alyssa, our Angel among Angels. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials to the Alyssa Dorfler Trust Fund appreciated. Cemetery: St. Francis Borgia Cemetery Pioneer Rd.
