Albert Leiter, of Lomira, Wisconsin, formerly of Cedarburg, was called to his eternal home, on February 17, 2016, at the age of 85 years. Albert was born on December 6, 1930, in Billings, Montana, the son of the late Jesse Leiter and the late Alma (nee Ritterbursch) Leiter. Their family then relocated to Wisconsin, in 1932. Albert was united in marriage to Jean Schuh on November 12, 1949, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Cedarburg. Albert was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at Maple Dale School, in Fox Point, for over 15 years. Their family then relocated to the Crivitz area, where he worked in the maintenance department for the Crivitz School District. Albert finished his working career at Quad Graphics, in Lomira, working as a supervisor, for over 17 years. Albert is survived by his beloved wife, Jean (nee Schuh) Leiter, children, Kathy (Jim) Hilsberg, Cindy (Kris) Dowe, Diane (Rick) Rogers, and David (Angela) Leiter; and sister, Grace Dickmann. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, and two daughters, Karen and Debra Leiter. Albert was man of great faith, and he was a longtime member at St. John Lutheran Church, in Lomira. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at St. John Lutheran Church (558 S. Water St.), Lomira, at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, at the church, from 10:00AM until the time of service. Albert will be laid to rest at Immanuel Cemetery, in Cedarburg.
