Name: Anita M. Wiechert Dates: Birth date: September 18, 1914 Death date: April 19, 2012 Obituary: A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012, 7PM at the Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg, for Anita M. Wiechert. A visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Service from 4-7PM. The Rev. Kristine Ertl will officiate the Funeral Service. Interment will take place at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Ladies Aide, the Ozaukee County 4-H Foundation, the Cedarburg High School Band Program, or to the Cedarburg Historical Society are appreciated.
Anita was born on September 18, 1914, in Cedarburg, to the late Albert and the late Anna (nee Maske) Moegenburg. She later married the late Roy Kamke, and after his passing in 1950, she married the late Oscar Wiechert. She was the proud mother of three children, Kenneth, Carol, and James.
Anita was a longtime member at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, where she was baptized, confirmed, and also married. Anita lived in the town of Cedarburg, on the family farm, and was very active on the farm. She enjoyed playing bingo, but especially was fond of playing sheepshead with her children and grandchildren. Anita enjoyed baking for her family as well as gardening.
Anita was called home to her Lord on April 19, 2012, at the age of 97 years.
Anita is survived by her children: Kenneth (Phyllis) Kamke, Carol (Loren) Quaas, and James (Diana) Wiechert, grandchildren: Steven (Amber) Kamke, Bethann (Axel) Badea, Suzanne (Tim) Caldwell, Brian Quaas, Janet Wiechert, Jeff Wiechert, and Julie Wiechert, and great-grandchildren: Peter, Christian, Deborah, and David Kamke, Megan Badea, and William Caldwell. She is further survived by other close relatives: Marge Keshemberg, Deryl Riemer, Donald Klug, Lila Schwan, Ruth Frank, and other friends. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands, Roy W. Kamke and Oscar H. Wiechert.
