Sandra (Sandy) Reichmann (nee Zientara) was called to her merciful and wise Heavenly Father’s home on April 20th, as she was placed peacefully into His arms. Devoted and much-loved wife to her husband, Pastor Wilmer Reichmann. Caring and nurturing mother to her sons, Todd (LeAnn) and Adam (Lisa). Delightful “Gramma San-San” to her grandsons, James and Josiah. Beloved sister of Wayne (Paula) Zientara, Linda (Larry) Harris, David (Mary) Zientara, Janet (Brad) Newland. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Sandy, 65, was born and raised in Decatur, IL, and graduated from Lutheran School of Nursing, St. Louis in 1967, where she also taught nursing. She worked at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, Glenview Medical Associates (IL), and Madison Medical Associates in Mequon.

Sandy enjoyed working as a Cedarburg volunteer at Kühefuss House, the Welcome Center, and the Stone House Tours. She was a skillful homemaker who took joy in gardening, decorating, and cooking special meals for those she loved. Her specialty seasonal cookies always brought smiles to her extended family far and near.

She supported her husband’s ministries in Manitowadge, Ontario; Oconto-Marinette, WI; Glenview, IL; and First Immanuel Lutheran Cedarburg, WI. Sandy’s spirit of adventure was reflected in her world travels where she delighted in the beauty of Creation and the warmth of those she met.

Funeral services Wednesday, April 25th at 6 p.m. at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg. Interment Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Visitation at church on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.
