My Dad Bud Schmidt and I send our sincere sympathies to all of you. Since my mom's passing in February, my dad has said numerous times, "I don't know how Max did it." He was obviously surrounded by a very loving family. God's blessings be upon all of you, as you have hope in Jesus for a reunion in heaven.

My deepest sympathies to all of the Rufferts at this difficult and sad time. I have many fond memories of LaVerne and Max both. Together again! That warms my heart; and brings a smile to my face. God's blessing to all of you.

Linda and family, I am sorry for your loss. Whenever Max would come to Newman looking for donations for the Legion, he always had a smile and SO VERY proud to be a Veteran...Thank You Max

Gail, Gary and Family. Deepest sympathies in the loss of your dear dad. Max was a great guy and a great Grafton community member. His memory will live on. He is finally at home with his dear wife. Lots of wonderful Grafton folks to welcome him as well.

I am saddened to hear of your loss and am keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. I had the opportunity to meet your father and grandfather and am the recipient of a few of his "designs," which I keep in my desk and pull out periodically. He will be missed.
